Jorge Barrientos Salinas

Jorge Barrientos Salinas is a seasoned sustainable commerce specialist at Promperu with extensive experience in the design, implementation, and monitoring of national programs focused on environmental sustainability. Since January 2016, Jorge has been pivotal in leading the Circular Economy Program, facilitating its adoption in over 30 companies across diverse sectors, and developing educational content for Promperu's virtual classroom. Prior to this role, Jorge contributed to the Biocomercio Andino GEF - CAF - UNEP project by systematically compiling activities from 2011 to 2014 and verifying the execution of work plans for beneficiary companies. Jorge holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidad Ricardo Palma, earned between 2007 and 2013.
