Andrea Owens

Andrea Owens is a seasoned payroll and benefits professional with extensive experience in managing payroll operations across various companies. Currently serving as the Director of Payroll & Benefits at Propeller Industries since April 2023, Andrea previously held the position of Payroll Operations Manager at Nikola Motor Company, overseeing payroll for over 1,500 employees and the successful implementation of the Ceridian Dayforce HCM system. Prior roles include Payroll Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where management of a team facilitated payroll for over 1,400 employees, and Payroll and Benefits Manager at EXOS and ECOtality, where responsibility for multi-state payroll and compliance was paramount. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Drake University, obtained in 1993.
