Chandra Subramanian has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and industries. Starting in 1995, Chandra worked in technical consulting for various companies, leading consulting engagements to design and implement software solutions for clients globally. This included designing web-based application systems for high-volume transactions and automation solutions.
In 2002, Chandra joined Wells Fargo and held multiple positions over the years. As a Senior Solutions Architect, Chandra implemented architectural solutions for internal systems, including loan origination, risk management, and enterprise search applications. Chandra then transitioned to a leadership role as Vice President, Technology Manager, where they defined technology strategies and managed teams responsible for core data assets.
From 2013 to 2022, Chandra served as Vice President, Technology Relationship Manager at Wells Fargo. In this role, Chandra led data and analytics technology management for the Wholesale Bank, establishing technology strategies and roadmaps for data warehouse and data marts environments. Chandra also led efforts in applying data science and machine learning solutions to various business use cases in risk, revenue generation, and data security.
Most recently, Chandra Subramanian joined Propel in 2022 as the Senior Director of Engineering.
Chandra Subramanian holds a Master's degree in Computer Science (Specialization in Machine Learning) from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to that, Chandra completed a B.Tech in Computer Science and Technology from the College of Engineering Trivandrum. Chandra's secondary school education was undertaken at Kendriya Vidyalaya. Additionally, Chandra has obtained certifications in "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning" from Coursera in 2019, and in "Machine Learning" from Coursera in 2017.
