Mario Moreno

Mario Moreno has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and positions. Mario started their career as a Statistic Analyst at BMW, where they conducted statistical analysis and developed experiments to improve the measuring system. Mario then worked as an Industrial Engineer at CUPRUM, followed by a role as an Engineering Coordinator at DHL Supply Chain.

In 2010, Mario joined Capgemini as an Oracle EBS Jr Consultant, responsible for configuring inventory, order management, and purchasing modules in the Oracle E-Business Suite. Mario also provided training to end users.

Mario then transitioned to Johnson Controls, where they initially served as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator, supporting Six Sigma projects, business continuity planning, and monitoring business practices in the finance departments. Mario later became a CI Leader/Black Belt, leading CI projects and implementing the continuous improvement strategy within the finance center.

At GE, Mario served as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Leader, leading continuous improvement projects and implementing innovation techniques combined with digital technologies in GE Shared Services Operation for Latin America. Mario also introduced automation programs to increase team efficiency.

Following their tenure at GE, Mario joined CEMEX as a Business Evolution & Digital Transformation Advisor. Mario played a crucial role in evolving processes and platforms for back-office departments and corporate areas, driving digital transformation and offering advisory services based on benchmarks and best practices.

After CEMEX, Mario returned to Johnson Controls as a Process Excellence Manager, overseeing process improvement projects and quality assurance in addition to training and development initiatives.

Most recently, Mario worked at Proper as the Director of Strategy, leading strategic initiatives and continuously improving operations.

Mario Moreno completed their undergraduate education from 2004 to 2009 at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering. In 2008-2009, they also attended Ruhr University Bochum to further their studies in Industrial Engineering. Mario has also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the PMP® certification from Simplilearn in April 2016, the Alteryx Designer Core Certification from Alteryx in April 2020, and the Alteryx Designer Core Certified also from Alteryx in April 2020. Mario also has additional certifications in Kanban Management Professional I from Lean Kanban University and Scrum and User Stories Mapping from CEMEX, although the obtained month and year for these certifications are not provided.
