Quamrul Ahsan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the textile industry. Quamrul has worked as a Product Developer at Gabriel, where they collaborated with the design team to create innovative 3D-shaped technical textile products using the latest technology and manufacturing techniques. At the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden, Quamrul served as a Research Assistant, conducting research on 3D knit technology and smart e-textiles to develop a cutting-edge smart glove for controlling a robotic arm.

Prior to their roles at Gabriel and ITM, Quamrul had a long tenure at Pacific Associates Ltd, where they held various managerial positions in the Knitwear Development & Technical Service Section. As the Manager of the section, they led a team of knit CAD programmers and machine maintenance technicians, overseeing the operations of Shima Seiki computerized flat knitting machines used by Bangladeshi Knitwear manufacturers. Quamrul provided guidance, support, and training to their team members to foster their professional growth and development.

Before joining Pacific Associates Ltd, Quamrul worked at Knit Technology Ltd as a Service Engineer. In this role, they played a crucial role in designing and developing computer knit CAD programming software, collaborating with a team of software engineers to enhance the capabilities of knit engineers and designers.
