Michelle Thompson

Dr. Michelle Thompson is Executive Vice President of Global Business Development at ProSciento, Inc. Her career in business development and alliance management spans more than 25 years within several sectors of life sciences, including large pharma, biotech, venture capital, CRO, central, diagnostic, and specialty laboratories, as well as healthcare. She has held senior management and consulting positions in business development and alliance management at J&J, PPD, Focus Bio-Inova, Nextrials (now ICON), and Updata Capital (now Updata Partners).

Within that span she was also at PRA Health Sciences for seven years, which included the role of Vice President of Business Development. Dr. Thompson also spent a portion of her career in academia, as an assistant professor of marketing at Rockhurst University in Kansas City and an adjunct professor of psychology at the University of Connecticut. She received her PhD in Neuroscience/Psychology from the University of Connecticut and her MBA from the University of North Carolina.
