Michelle Tom M.D.

Michelle Tom, MD has extensive work experience in the medical field. Michelle is currently serving as the Chief Medical Director at Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc. and also works as a Hospice and Palliative Care Physician at MemorialCare. Previously, they worked at MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center as an Attending Emergency Physician, Committee Member for Medical Case Review, Director of Emergency Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, and Stroke Services, Assistant Medical Director, and Director of Quality Assurance in the Emergency Department. Michelle was also a Senior Partner at Vituity and a Physician Reviewer for Utilization Review at Occupational and Environmental Network (OEHN). Michelle Tom chaired the Emergency Medical Care Committee in Orange County and served as the Chairperson for Medical Case Review at SADDLEBACK MEMORIAL MEDICAL CTR SC CAMPUS.

Michelle Tom, MD's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience and Psychobiology from UCLA. Michelle then attended the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Michelle completed the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the same institution.

In terms of continuing education and certifications, Michelle Tom completed several online certificate programs through Harvard Business School. Michelle earned a Certificate in Strategy Execution and a Certificate in Leadership, Ethics, and Corporate Accountability. Michelle is currently pursuing a Certificate in Negotiation Strategy from Harvard Business School.
