Roger Garceau has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1986. Roger began their career at Upjohn Company as a Clinical Research and Regional Medical Director. Roger then moved to Pharmacia in 1998 as a Senior Director of Clinical Development. In 2002, they joined sanofi-aventis as Vice President of New Product Marketing (US), Vice President of Medical Communications, and Vice President of Clinical Research and Operations. In 2008, they became Executive Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Medical Officer at NPS Pharmaceuticals, where they led the team to two successful FDA AdComs and a successful MAA application. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Director at Fluorinov Pharma Inc., Entera Bio Ltd., and Enterome. In 2019, they became a Director at ArTara Therapeutics and also started their own consulting business, RJG Consulting, where they provide expertise in global clinical development and regulatory, especially in the area of Orphans.
Roger Garceau's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree from Fairfield University from 1971 to 1975, a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from UMass Chan Medical School from 1975 to 1979, and a Board Certification in Pediatrics from U. Mass Pediatric Residency Program from 1979 to 1982. Additionally, they are a Fellow in American Academy of Pediatrics from the AAP.
