Shweta Kulkarni, PhD

Shweta Kulkarni, PhD has a diverse work experience in various research positions. Shweta most recently worked as a Field Medical Scientist for Provention Bio, a Sanofi Company starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Florida from 2016 to 2022, where they held roles as a Researcher PhD Candidate and a Paper Discussion Group Leader. At the University of Florida, their research focused on pancreatic inter-organ cellular interactions and the pathogenesis of Type 1 Diabetes. Shweta also gained skills in mentoring, oral and written communication, and published multiple manuscripts.

Before their time at the University of Florida, Shweta worked at the National Cancer Institute as a Postbaccalaureate Research Fellow from 2015 to 2016.
