Alexey Sheinkman

Alexey Sheinkman has a diverse work experience in the field of process engineering and chemical engineering. Alexey has held various roles in different companies, starting from a Chemical Engineer in Integrated Engineering Services from 1998 to 2004. Alexey then worked as a Chemical Project Engineer (contract) at Bayer HealthCare from 2004 to 2005, where they were responsible for managing and executing small design-built projects.

Following this, Alexey worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Eicleay Engineers of California from 2005 to 2006. Alexey then joined Wastech Controls and Engineering as a Process Engineer from 2006 to 2007, where they designed waste collection and wastewater treatment systems.

In 2007, Alexey became the Laboratory Manager at Kreido Biofuels, where they led the process development of renewable fuel production and supervised lab operations. Alexey also set up an R&D laboratory for biodiesel process development and designed a pilot plant to replicate full-scale process conditions.

Here, they led engineering teams and collaborated with vendors to design production and manufacturing operations for fermentation-based biochemical products. Alexey also played a key role in the downstream process design for Dodecanedioic Acid technology.
