Paul Richard

Paul Richard is the CEO of PRP Diagnostic Imaging. Paul has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on diagnostic imaging. Paul began their career as a director of operations for Alcon Laboratories Australia Pty, where they were responsible for the company's overall operation and management. In this role, they led the company to achieve EBIT growth on the prior year. Paul also implemented real-time reporting tools and optimized resources to increase service levels while reducing costs.

In November 2013, Paul became the state GM for NSW at Healthcare Imaging Services. In this role, they had full P&L responsibility for over 45 diagnostic imaging practices in NSW, employing 650+ staff and managing revenues of $120m+ pa. Under Paul's leadership, the company achieved bottom line growth by increasing talent in senior management positions, cascading strategies into objectives and shifting mindset to a service culture. Paul also strategically reviewed the company's network against demand and competition. As a result of their efforts, the company created site business plans that included creative Radiologist remuneration models, the closing down of sites, staff training and up skilling and technology upgrades.

Paul is a results-driven leader with a proven track record of success in the healthcare industry. Paul is passionate about improving patient care and ensuring that diagnostic imaging services are delivered in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

Paul Richard received a BAppSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Paul also received a Cert III Investigative Services from the Australian School of Security & Investigations. Paul Richard's educational career also includes attending Carine Wilson Secondary School.
