Vitthal Sawant

Vitthal Sawant has extensive work experience in the research and development field, particularly in the plastics and cables industries. Vitthal has held various senior positions in notable companies such as Prysmian Group, Oman Cables Industry SAOG, General Cable, Dow Corning, GE Plastics (now Sabic), and ISRO - Indian Space Research Organisation. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in leading research projects, developing new materials, managing intellectual property, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Vitthal has also mentored junior colleagues and consistently delivered project milestones.

Vitthal Sawant completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Polymer (Plastic) Technology from Amravati University in 2002. Vitthal pursued their M.Tech. in Polymer Science & Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 2002 to 2004. In 2011, they attended WON Netherlands and obtained a degree as a Patent Information Specialist, with a focus on European Intellectual Property law. Prior to these, they completed their 12th grade from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Palus in 1998.
