Ashley Brinson

CEO, Executive Director at PT Blink

Ashley has broad experience in R&D, manufacturing, capital project management, international business expansion, technology transfer and public policy. Currently, Ashley is the Director of strategic consultancy Brinson and Associates and the Founder and CEO of ‘cleantech’ company Greener Technologies Ltd, which offers an automation system for large-scale solar deployment called Solarobotix.

From 2014-2020, Ashley was the CEO of The Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering at the University of Sydney, prior to which he had an extensive career with the Dow Corning Corporation. During this time, Ashley’s achievements included developing robotics to produce solar panels and building a

U.S $1.5B “mega-project” facility in China, which peaked at 8800 daily site personnel and 900 project engineers. Ashley has also invented, designed, constructed and managed major silicon facilities in the U.S, Europe, and Asia.

Ashley holds a BChE from Georgia Tech, an MBA from Rutgers University and a Juris Doctor from Sydney University Law School. Ashley is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, a Fellow of IChemE, a lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He Co-Chairs the Society of Construction Law Australia “Technology 2030” Task Force.
