Agin Setiawan

Agin Setiawan has a diverse work experience in the field of geotechnical engineering and geology. Agin started their career in 2017 as a student intern at Saka Energi Indonesia, where they conducted fault seal analysis using seismic and well data. In 2017, they also worked as a junior geologist at Lembaga Kerjasama Fakultas Teknik UGM, where they mapped and analyzed geological structures for geothermal exploration projects. From 2018 onwards, Agin joined Freeport Indonesia, initially as a geotechnical engineer in their fresh graduate program, where they worked on a project related to shotcrete arches and steel set recommendations. Later, they were assigned to work at the Underground Grasberg Block Caving Mine, providing geotechnical recommendations for tunnel development and ensuring tunnel stability. Agin's experience demonstrates their expertise in wide-ranging geotechnical and geological projects.

Agin Setiawan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Geological Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they attended SMA Taruna Nusantara for their Senior High School education from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, Agin obtained the certification of Frontline Operational Supervisor Coal & Minerals from Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) in December 2021.
