Poornima Prabhakaran

Poornima Prabhakaran is a physician, epidemiologist, and public health researcher who currently serves as the Director at Trivedi School of Biosciences at Ashoka University. Prior to this role, Poornima was the Deputy Director and Additional Professor at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). Poornima also has experience as a Senior Research Scientist, Associate Professor, and Director at various organizations within the public health sector. With a background in medicine and specialized training in epidemiology, Poornima's core areas of interest include environmental health and non-communicable diseases with a lifecourse approach.
