Colin Seals

Fifteen years of living and working in foreign countries has given Colin a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of our world. He knows that solving difficult problems requires looking for answers in sometimes unexpected places and “seeing the whole field.” Colin’s track record of finding solutions across diverse sectors and cultures has armed him with a creative global perspective on issues critical to Michigan’s present and future.

As a director at PSC, Colin guides strategy, research, and analysis related to local, state, and national energy policy. He helps clients identify opportunities and overcome challenges around traditional and renewable power generation, grid modernization, sustainable mining, and EV supply chains. Colin is passionate about work that helps Michigan residents and companies be full participants in the clean energy transition.

Colin comes to PSC after serving as an economic affairs officer with the U.S. Department of State, where he advised ambassadors and senior U.S. officials on energy, mining, supply chains, innovation, telecommunications, and health policy. His foreign postings included Canada, Mexico, and Chile. Before working in government, Colin was a lawyer in Chicago.
