Sonia Portillo

Sonia Portillo, MPH, currently serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator at PulmonIx, LLC, where responsibilities include patient recruitment, protocol management, data entry across various clinical software platforms, and facilitating communication with the research team. Prior experiences include medical clerkships in various specialties such as orthopedic surgery, general surgery, nephrology, family medicine, OB/GYN, internal medicine, gastroenterology, emergency medicine, pediatrics, surgery, and psychiatry. Sonia also held the position of Program Coordinator at Holy Cross Health for over four years, focusing on patient education and care coordination while achieving recognized excellence in customer service. Sonia Portillo holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of the Americas, a Master of Public Health from Loma Linda University, and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Maryland.
