Clive Chesser

Clive Chesser is the current CEO of Punch Taverns. Clive has held this position since June 2018. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director of Brewing & Brands at Greene King from June 2009 to June 2018.

Before joining Greene King, Clive was the Divisional Director at Enterprise Inns plc from September 2007 to June 2009. In this role, they were responsible for 560 leased & tenanted pubs in the South of England.

From October 1999 to September 2007, Clive worked at General Mills as the International Senior Operations Manager for Haagen-Dazs Shops. In this role, they oversaw a network of managed and franchised ice cream retail outlets in over 50 countries with 600 stores.

Clive's first professional position was as Operations Manager for Select Service Partner at Compass Group UK & Ireland from October 1992 to October 1999.

Clive Chesser has a MBA from the University of Leicester and a BA in Politics from the same school. Clive also attended Cranleigh School and London Business School.
