Valerio Raco

CEO - Founder at PunchLab

Valerio Raco has a wealth of experience in the field of neuroscience. From 2008 to 2018, they held various positions in research and administration. In 2008, they were a Lab Assistant at the Laboratory of Cognitive Psychology at the "Sapienza" University of Rome. Valerio then moved to the Universitätsklinikum Tübingen as a Research Assistant in 2012. That same year, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the Werner Reichardt Centre for Integrative Neuroscience, where they analyzed cortical networks and field perturbations during motor imagery tasks with haptic feedback. In 2011, they were a Research Assistant at Tsinghua University, and in 2010, they were a Research Assistant at ECoNA. In 2013, Valerio began their Ph.D. at the University of Tübingen, exploring the physiological effects of noninvasive electrical stimulation of the human corticospinal system. Finally, in 2018, they founded PunchLab and served as its CEO.

Valerio Raco completed a Bachelor in Psychology from Sapienza Università di Roma from 2006 to 2010. Valerio then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Neuroscience from the Graduate Training Center for Neuroscience from 2011 to 2013. In 2017, they attended the MedTech Startup School Tuebingen for Business/Managerial Economics. In 2018, they attended the Startup School Online.
