Derek Harland [Lssbb]

Derek Harland, LSSBB, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in mechanical and design engineering, currently serving as a Senior NPI Engineer at Pura since May 2025. Previously, Derek held the position of Principal Design Automation Engineer at Medtronic, focusing on diabetes solutions from January 2023 to May 2025. As a co-founder of T&D Harland LLC and owner of Six Sigma Sensei, Derek has contributed to various businesses through Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Additional roles include Director of Hardware Engineering at Bird, Senior Mechanical Engineer at Pentair, and Mechanical Engineer positions at various firms. Derek holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
