Xiaoming Zhou

Xiaoming Zhou has extensive experience in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, combinatorial chemistry, asymmetric synthesis, and total synthesis of natural products. They have worked as a Principal Investigator at Purdue Pharma L.P., where they were involved in designing and synthesizing heterocyclic compounds, as well as scaling up lead compounds and preclinical candidates for drug discovery. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at Duke University from June 1998 to January 2000 and at Colorado State University from 1997 to 1998. They also served as an Assistant Professor at Suzhou University from 1989 to 1993.

Xiaoming Zhou has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Ghent University, which was obtained from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, Xiaoming Zhou completed an MS in Organic Chemistry from Nanjing University between 1986 and 1989. Xiaoming Zhou's education began with a BS in Chemistry from Nanjing University, which was completed from 1982 to 1986.
