Mark Brown is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at Purple. Mark has over 25 years of experience in human resources and operations management.

Brown started their career in 1995 as an Operations Manager at Cendant Marketing Group. Mark then became the Director of Operations at Communications and Commerce (comm.comm) in 2000. In 2004, they became the Vice President of Human Resources at One on One Marketing, where they successfully developed an HR department that supported an organization that grew to over 300 employees and over $60 million in annual revenue.

In 2014, Brown became the Vice President of Human Resources at Jamberry, where they were responsible for moving away from a PEO and creating a fully operational HR department. This included the creation and implementation of all policies and procedures, recruiting, training, payroll, workers comp and the negotiation of all health insurance programs and 401k plan. Under Brown's leadership, Jamberry increased staffing by 355% from 2014 to 2015, with over 500 employees. In addition to creating a robust HR department, Brown was also instrumental in turning Jamberry into a "destination" workplace and being named by the Direct Selling Association as a "Top Place to Work For".

Mark Brown's educational career consists of a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from The Ohio State University and a Business Administration degree from Concordia University-Portland.
