Julie Amodeo

Julie Amodeo has a diverse background in operations and consulting. Julie is currently working as the Senior Director of Operations at Purpose since October 2022. Prior to that, they ran their own consulting firm, Julie Amodeo Consulting LLC, from August 2022 to October 2022, where they specialized in building sustainable operations solutions for organizations. Before that, they worked as a Teacher at ESS from April 2022 to October 2022. Earlier in their career, Julie held various leadership roles at Cambridge University Press, including Vice President of Operations, Americas from March 2019 to April 2021. Julie also had significant experience at IEEE, where they held roles such as Director of Customer Relations, Operations & Quality from September 2016 to March 2019, Director of Customer Relations & Operations, Meetings, Conferences & Events from December 2013 to September 2016, and Senior Manager of Customer Relationship Management, Meetings, Conferences & Events from July 2012 to December 2013. Julie started their career at Palisades Convention Management, where they held positions including Vice President of Operations and Conferences from December 2009 to July 2012, and Conference Manager from September 2006 to December 2009.

Julie Amodeo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in English from Brooklyn College. Julie also obtained an Appreciative Inquiry Certificate in Positive Business and Society Change from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Julie has received certifications in PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) from LinkedIn, USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coaching Certification from USA Weightlifting, and substitute teaching credentials from the New Jersey Department of Education.
