Nara Perobelli is a dedicated campaigner currently working at Purpose since May 2022, focusing on projects and campaigns that prioritize people in climate discussions and foster concrete political changes in Brazil's climate movement. Previously, Nara served as an International Advisor at Associação Brasileira de Municípios, supporting Latin American municipalities within the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy and promoting the #WomenInAction campaign. Experience as a researcher includes roles at Giovanna Nader Produções and Escola de Ativismo, where Nara contributed to environmental research and political action studies. Additionally, experience as a Gender and Climate Assistant at Climate Observatory involved facilitating gender considerations in climate strategies, and work as a Gender & Climate Consultant at Imaflora focused on climate adaptation in Piracicaba. Nara has an educational background in environmental management and conflict governance, with studies conducted at recognized institutions such as USP and the University of Amsterdam.
