Songkil Kim

Songkil Kim is a researcher and academic leader at Pusan National University, currently serving as the Director of the PNU Cooperative Center for Research Facilities and Associate Dean of Research and Business Development. Kim holds the position of Associate Professor and Major Chair of Precision Manufacturing Systems, with previous roles as Assistant Professor and Graduate Research Assistant at Pusan National University. Kim's earlier experience includes a postdoctoral research position at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where significant advancements in nanomaterials and fabrication techniques were achieved. Kim possesses a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has a strong foundation in mechanical engineering with degrees from Pusan National University.
