Liza Maimone

Liza is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for PwC Australia and a member of PwC Australia's Executive Board. Liza is also a director of PwC's Consulting Australia South East Asia and New Zealand Board and PwC’s Services Trust.

As COO, Liza leads the firm’s core business enabling functions across finance and operations, business services, technology and digital, people and partnership, sales and marketing, and transformation. Liza is also responsible for PwC Australia’s focus on Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) matters including its social impact strategy and commitments, such as the firm’s commitment to Net Zero.

Liza has held a number of key leadership roles in the firm, most recently as Managing Partner of the PwC Australia Consulting business.

With over 25 years’ professional expertise in risk, governance and sustainability, Liza is highly sought after as an advisor and assurance provider to senior management and boards in ESG. Liza is the executive sponsor of the firm’s ESG advice and offerings to clients.

Liza is a chemical engineer with post-graduate qualifications in energy and resources law, she is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, a Chartered Professional Engineer, and is a senior fellow of the Melbourne School of Engineering. Liza also holds a range of external board and advisory roles.
