Verena Grotz

Verena Grotz has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Verena currently works as a Director in Strategy & Transformation at PwC Switzerland, where they specialize in leading multidisciplinary teams and guiding businesses through complex transformations. Prior to that, they were the Deputy Head of Corporate Strategy at Die Schweizerische Post, where they were a core team member of a company-wide strategy project and also led Agile Project Management. Verena has also worked at SBB CFF FFS as the Head of Corporate Development and Program Lead, overseeing sales strategy and transformation efforts and implementing digitalization and operational efficiency projects. Verena has previous experience at Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics as a Management Trainee and also participated in a study program at the United Nations.

Verena Grotz has a diverse education history. Verena has obtained an MBA HSG degree from the University of St.Gallen, with studies taking place in St. Gallen, London, and Barcelona. Additionally, they have completed an Executive Leadership Diploma at Esade, a Strategic Leaders Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Verena has also attended the Digital Transformation Summer School at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and the Urban Studies Summer School at the University of Amsterdam. Furthermore, Verena has obtained several certifications, including the Inclusive Mindset certification from PwC in 2023, the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2021, the Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2019, and the Agile Leadership certification from Management 3.0 in 2017. Verena has also completed a Masterclass Organisationsdesign from Handelsblatt Global in 2019 and a Negotiation course from SMP Management Programm St. Gallen in 2015. Verena also holds certifications in HERMES Foundation and Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from TÜV Süd and Scrum.org, respectively.
