Jelmer Spiekstra

Jelmer Spiekstra has extensive work experience in the software development and traffic management industries. Jelmer has held various roles at Q-Free ASA, including Vice President Standard Software, Project Manager Tolling Back Office, Product Manager Global Platforms, and Global Product Manager. In these positions, they have been responsible for managing software development projects, communicating with customers and stakeholders, and gathering and prioritizing market requirements. Prior to working at Q-Free ASA, Jelmer worked at Dacolian B.V. as a Technical Account Manager and Senior Software Engineer, where they conducted research and development for license plate recognition software and systems. Jelmer also has experience in computer vision systems for industrial purposes. Jelmer's work experience began as a Student Assistant at the University of Groningen.

Jelmer Spiekstra obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Groningen from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Scholengemeenschap De Delta Leeuwarden from 1989 to 1995 for VWO. Furthermore, they obtained additional certifications in Timemanagement from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen in 2008 and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from PRINCE2 Foundation in 2007.
