Matias Benitez

Matias Benitez is an accomplished technology executive, currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Q2 since August 2024. With extensive experience in software engineering leadership, Matias held the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at Capital One from June 2022 to March 2024 and Vice President & Head of Engineering at RetailMeNot, Inc. from December 2018 to May 2022. Prior to these roles, Matias contributed significant innovations at Amazon, advancing from Sr. Manager in Software Engineering to leading projects focused on computer vision and deep learning. Matias also has a background as a Real Estate Investor, owning multiple properties in Florida and Texas since July 2010, and previous consulting roles that highlight expertise in web content management systems and ecommerce. Matias holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Grand Canyon University.
