Dana Alshebani

Head Of Creative Design at Qatar Museums Authority

Dana Alshebani has extensive work experience in the field of design, with a focus on graphic design and creative design. Dana began their career at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar in 2007, where they worked as a Graphic Designer for six years. In 2013, they joined Qatar Museums and took on the role of Senior Graphic Designer. Dana later advanced to the position of Head of Creative Design in August 2016. In 2015, Dana also worked at Entube Center as the Deputy General Manager.

Dana Alshebani's education history includes various degrees and certifications. In 2002, they attended Virginia Commonwealth University and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Communication Arts and Design, which they completed in 2006. Subsequently, they pursued their Associate of Science (A.S.) in Photographic Technology at Daytona State College from 2008 to 2010.

In 2016, Dana enrolled in a Diploma program in Cultural Management Professional Development at Goldsmiths, University of London. This program is considered as part of their professional development, providing their with additional knowledge in the field.

Most recently, from 2019 to 2020, Dana attended Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Applied Imagination in the Creative Industries. Their focus was on culture and enterprise, expanding their expertise in this area.

In addition to their degrees, Dana has also pursued additional certifications. In January 2016, they completed a Cultural Management & Leadership program at the Center for Creative Leadership. Dana further enhanced their skillset with an Emerging Leadership Development Program from FranklinCovey in August 2020. Dana also completed a Mastering Design Thinking course at MIT Sloan Executive Education in August 2020.
