Khalid Albaih has a diverse work experience in various fields such as programs management, installation and design, multimedia production, editorial board, consulting, cultural production, and entrepreneurship. Khalid has worked as the Head of Programs at Qatar Museums, overseeing various activities and programs. Khalid also served as the Head of Installation & Design - Public Art at Qatar Museums, managing and coordinating public art projects. Additionally, they worked as a Multimedia Specialist, overseeing special projects and exhibitions. Khalid has also held positions as an Editorial Board member, a jury member and consultant for winner projects, and a board member at different organizations. Khalid is a political cartoonist and freelance illustrator, digital artist, and graphic designer. Khalid has also founded initiatives such as Adeela for Arts and Culture, GetFadaa.com, and @dohafashionfridays.
Khalid Albaih's education history includes several notable experiences. In 1999, they began pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design Engineering at Ajman University, which they completed in 2004. In 2005, Albaih obtained a Diploma in Graphic and Branding from the Al Jazeera Network Training Center. The year 2010 saw Albaih attending an accredited course at the University of Oxford, focusing on Islamic Art and Architecture. From 2012 to 2014, they pursued an Art Management Degree in Leadership Development / Art Management at the Qreation Generation - Center for Creative Leadership. In 2018, Albaih enrolled in the THNK School of Leadership, where they focused on Creative Leadership. Later in 2019, they furthered their studies and interests by briefly engaging with the Basis voor actulele Kunst, an institution known for Arts and Activism.
