Sami Hassouneh

Sami Hassouneh is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Engineering Technical Services at QatarEnergy since March 2023. Prior to this role, Sami held the position of PMC Engineering Manager at ADNOC Group from November 2021 to March 2023. Sami's extensive career began at Petrofac, where a progression of roles from Process Engineer to Engineering Manager was achieved over a span of 17 years, demonstrating expertise in process engineering and management. Earlier experience includes a Technical Clerk position at ADNOC Group and a Sales Coordinator role at AMIP. Sami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah, obtained between 1997 and 2004, and completed A' Levels at Al Nahda National Schools in Abu Dhabi.
