Hana Hermanek

Hana Hermanek is a Principal Owner at Songbird Environmental Consulting Ltd. since March 2019, specializing in nesting surveys, fish and amphibian salvages, water quality monitoring, and wildlife assessments. Concurrently, Hana has been a Teacher at Fresh Air Learning within School District 47 since April 2017 and previously served as a Teacher on Call at Burnaby School District - SD41 from January 2017 to March 2019. Hana's experience as a Wildlife Biologist Subcontractor at Gebauer and Associates from May 2012 to June 2017 included conducting surveys for migratory songbirds, waterfowl, and caribou. Further roles include Environmental Scientist and Educator at Metro Vancouver, Production and Education Assistant at White Gold Productions, and various positions in environmental and educational sectors. Hana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor's of Education from The University of British Columbia.
