John C. Howes, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership and human resources roles.

John C. is currently serving as the Chief Experience Management Officer (CXMO) at qChange, where they are responsible for accelerating the leader experience.

From 2010 to 2020, John worked at IBM - Kenexa as the Executive Consulting Leader. In this role, they led the largest team of executive and senior talent management consultants within IBM, focusing on improving clients' business performance through human capital management consulting.

Prior to that, John held the position of OD/Education/Talent Management Director/CLO at Cascade Healthcare Community from 2009 to 2010. John C. was responsible for strategic organizational transformation through leadership development, coaching, and learning and development efforts.

From 2005 to 2009, John served as the Global Director - Talent Management at Nike, Inc., where they directed the global leadership and management development strategy across all brands and affiliates. John C. also led the Director of Performance, Learning, and Development role at Nike, where they oversaw diverse global teams and implemented learning and development initiatives.

Before Nike, John was the Director - Learning, Organization, and Talent Development at PacifiCorp from 2001 to 2005. John C. created and managed training branches and leadership and organizational development functions across the Power Delivery business.

John also gained experience at Honeywell and Allied Signal, where they held several leadership roles, including HR Director - Business Leader, Director - Talent Management and Organizational Development, and Professional Auditor.

Earlier in their career, John was employed at Sprint, where they held positions as a Professional Auditor, Manager - Organizational Development, and Manager - Assessment and Selection Systems. During their time at Sprint, they successfully developed assessment and selection solutions that improved performance and reduced turnover.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated their expertise in human resources, leadership development, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.

John C. Howes, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, which they completed from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Colorado State University from 1990 to 1995. Later, they began pursuing an MBA degree at The University of Kansas, which they partially completed from 1996 to 1998.
