Pieter Ieven

Pieter Ieven is an experienced professional with a background in engineering and management. Currently serving as an Application Manager at Qcify since May 2021, Pieter previously held the position of R&D engineer at Key Technology, Inc., where responsibilities included optimizing optical sorting solutions for the food industry and conducting product demonstrations. Pieter has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of Champagneboeren, focusing on the purchase and sale of champagne from small wine growers, and worked as a Validation Engineer at QUASYDOC for a statistical software project. Prior roles include leadership positions at AIESEC Leuven, managing sales and customer relations for international internship programs. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Bio-science Engineering: Food Technology from KU Leuven and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the same institution, accompanied by a management program for young leaders at Vlerick Business School.
