Nadia Allen Ph.D.

Nadia Allen PhD, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in assay development and molecular biology. Currently serving as Associate Director and Head of Assay Development at QIAGEN since September 2006, Nadia has a proven track record in product extension and improvement, leading teams to enhance quality assurance and control methods. Contributions include coordination of automated platform testing and development of purification methods for clinical applications. Previous roles include Molecular and Cellular Biologist at Emergent BioSolutions and Post-doctoral Scientist at the NIH's NCI Branch. Nadia holds an Executive MBA from Boston University and a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Stanford University, complemented by degrees in Biochemistry and Zoology from The City College of New York and the University of the West Indies.
