Shaojun Feng Ceng Frin Fiet

Chief Scientist at Qianxun Spatial Intelligence

Shaojun Feng has a comprehensive work experience spanning several prestigious institutions and companies. Shaojun started their career as a Postdoc at Tsinghua University, Beijing in 1999, where they worked until 2001. Following that, they joined Nanyang Technological University, Singapore as a Research Fellow in GPS from 2001 to 2003.

Shaojun then moved to Imperial College London in 2003 and held the position of Senior Research Fellow in Navigation & ITS, leading the Positioning and Navigation Research Group for 14 years until 2017. During this time, they made significant contributions to the field.

In 2011, they took on the role of Visiting Professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Subsequently, in 2017, they became the Chief Scientist at Qianxun Spatial Intelligence Inc. and later served as the Chief Scientific Officer at ALBORA.

Shaojun is currently an Honorary Principal (Professorial) Research Fellow at Imperial College London, a position they have held since 2023. Their work experience showcases their expertise and leadership in the field of navigation and positioning.

Shaojun Feng CEng FRIN FIET obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Navigation, Guidance, and Control from Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics. The period of education was from 1996 to 1999.
