Brianna Pollock is a dedicated research assistant currently working at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in the Laboratory for Cancer Medicine Group. With extensive experience in medical research, Brianna has contributed to the Fibrosis Group at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, focusing on pathways of fibrosis and exploring small noncoding RNAs as anti-fibrotic therapeutics. Previous roles include a student nurse position at Queensland Health, where over 840 hours of supervised clinical practice were completed across various healthcare sectors, and an immunology scientist role at QML Pathology, specializing in COVID-19 and respiratory virus testing. Brianna holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours and a Master of Nursing Studies from the University of Queensland and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Western Australia.
