Matthew Steeden

Matthew Steeden has diverse work experience spanning over 18 years, with a focus on engineering and marine-related roles. Matthew currently holds the position of Engineering Manager and Magnetics Engineering Lead at QinetiQ since January 2018. Before that, they worked as a Marine Engineer at Sunseeker International Ltd from April 2017 to December 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Display Fleet Manager at the Tank Museum from March 2016 to March 2017. Matthew also worked as a Service Technician at IHC IQIP from March 2013 to March 2016. Matthew started their career in 2002 at DSG Bovington, where they were a Senior Craft Technician responsible for building, modifying, and repairing various types of armored vehicles. Matthew worked at DSG Bovington for four years until June 2006. In between their tenure at DSG Bovington and QinetiQ, Matthew also worked as a Marine Engineer at RNLI from June 2006 to June 2009. Matthew Steeden attended The Purbeck School from 1996 to 1999. Matthew then went on to study Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians at Bridgwater Technical College, from 2000 to 2004, earning a GNVQ Level 4 degree.
