Cristian Malaia

Cristian Malaia has been working in the tech industry since 2001. Cristian began their career as a Software Engineer at NaNOGRAFICS, where they created and coded one of the first elearning platforms in Delphi, with the possibility to create and have online teaching classes, with Linux portability. In 2003, they moved to Softhouse as a Software Engineer, and then to eJobs Romania as a Web Master. At eJobs, they managed to run the website from a single server with 8Gb ram without SSD, removed the bottlenecks for searching resumes and jobs, and created new personalized job ads services. From 2006-2013, they worked at DoraTelecom and IQNetworks Eood as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. In 2007, they joined Warner Howlett as a Lead Full Stack Developer, where they developed projects for Kraft, Samsung, Philips, Danone, Volksbank, AlphaBank, eJobs, and InternetCorp. In 2020, Cristian Malaia began working at QMENTA as a Technical Lead and Senior Engineer.

Cristian Malaia attended Colegiul National Nicolae Balcescu Braila from 1999 to 2003. Cristian then attended University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2003 to 2006. Cristian obtained a number of certifications from BrainBench between 2002 and 2006, including Action Script 3, Adobe Photoshop CS, CorelDraw10, HTML 4.0, PHP MASTER 4.0, and Typing Speed and Accuracy 100%.
