Pamir Karagoz

Pamir Karagoz has a diverse and extensive work experience. Pamir began their career as an Auditor at Deloitte & Touche in 1997. From there, they moved on to Citi, where they served as the Head of Wealth Management for nine years. In 2008, they joined Barclays as the Regional Head of Premier Banking & Investments in Emerging Markets until 2011. Following that, Karagoz worked at Mashreqbank as the Regional Head of Wealth Management for the UAE, Qatar, and Egypt. In 2012, they joined Deloitte Turkey as the Clients and Industries Director and held the position until 2015. After leaving Deloitte, Karagoz joined QNB Finansinvest as the Executive Vice President of Retail and Wealth Management until 2018, where they then became the CEO and Board Member. Additionally, they have also held board member positions at the Turkish Capital Markets Association, Capital Markets Licensing Registry and Training Agency Inc., and QNB Finans Varlık Kiralama A.Ş. since 2020. Karagoz's work experience showcases their expertise in various roles within the finance and banking sector.

Pamir Karagoz completed their undergraduate studies in Management at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 1994 to 1998. Pamir then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2005 to 2007. In 2018, Pamir attended the Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
