Shekhar Jain

Shekhar Jain has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Student Mentor at IETE, providing support and guidance to new and junior students in electronics and electrical projects. In 2015, they also served as a Signalling and Communication Trainee at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, where they gained practical experience in the Signalling and Telecom Department.

In 2016, Shekhar was a Software Development Intern at Murex, where they worked on Java projects and collaborated with business experts to translate functional needs into technical requirements. Shekhar also served as a Student Ambassador at IBM, promoting the company's initiatives and engaging with students. Additionally, at Mozilla, they led campaigns and projects to encourage students to contribute to Mozilla and improve their global web experience as a Firefox Student Ambassador.

In 2017, Shekhar joined CONNECT Centre as a Research Scholar, where they designed and developed device-to-device communication in LTE using software-defined radio testbed. Shekhar also worked at Citi as a Technology Analyst/Project Manager, focusing on the development of scalable and reliable software in the EMEA Payments and Receivables division. Shekhar introduced new technologies into their projects and emphasized their scalability and reliability.

Shekhar'smost recent role is at Qstream, where Shekhar serves as a Senior Software Project Manager and Head of PMO. Since joining in 2022, they have implemented new project management processes across all departments. Shekhar has successfully delivered 12 projects using agile methodology and has established change management policies, vendor management policies, engineering risk register, and JIRA management.

Shekhar Jain completed their education in a variety of fields. In 2019, they received a Certificate in Blockchain and its business applications and implications from INSEAD. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering at Trinity College Dublin. Before attending Trinity College Dublin, from 2013 to 2015, they studied Electronics and Communication Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. Shekhar obtained their high school education from Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, where they pursued Science with Maths from 2008 to 2012.
