Thad Newman

Thad Newman is an Applications Engineer at CTS Corp - QTI Temperature Solutions, having transitioned from an internship where responsibilities included designing thermistors, material sourcing, and overseeing assembly processes. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Heat Transfer and Solar Energy Lab at Boise State University, where Thad conducted high-temperature abrasion experiments, and as a Learning Assistant for Engineering Dynamics, offering academic support to students. Additional roles ranged from a Sky Trek Guide at The EDGE Ziplines & Adventures, ensuring safety and facilitating guest experiences, to crew member positions at Smoothie King and Papa Murphy's International, focusing on customer service and teamwork. Thad is currently pursuing an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Boise State University, expected to graduate in 2024.
