We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Analyst specializing in NetSuite ERP to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements, managing projects, communicating with end-users, and overseeing the development and implementation of NetSuite ERP solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of NetSuite functionality and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Information Gathering:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and document functional specifications for NetSuite ERP projects.
  • Project Layout and Deliverables Management:
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with project stakeholders.
    • Develop project plans and timelines to ensure timely delivery of NetSuite ERP solutions.
  • Communication with End Users:
    • Serve as a liaison between end-users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Formulation of the Development Approach:
    • Analyze business processes and requirements to formulate development approaches and recommend best practices for NetSuite ERP implementation.
  • LOE Assessment and ETA Ownership:
    • Estimate level of effort (LOE) for project tasks and take ownership of ETA for project milestones.
  • Development Management:
    • Coordinate with developers and technical teams to oversee the development, customization, and configuration of NetSuite ERP solutions.
  • Time Tracking:
    • Monitor project progress and track time spent on tasks to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Project Documentation:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including functional specifications, design documents, and change logs.
  • Functionality Testing and UAT:
    • Lead functionality testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts to validate NetSuite ERP solutions against business requirements.

Expertise:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Experience:

    • Proven track record of 5 years in functional analysis, project management, and implementation of ERP solutions, with a focus on NetSuite.
      • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • NetSuite Expertise:

    • Understanding of NetSuite ERP Cash-to-Order functionality
      • Hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, customization, and integration capabilities to meet business requirements effectively.
      • Extensive knowledge of entity and transactional record customization of NetSuite
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex business requirements and propose innovative solutions using NetSuite functionality.
      • Proven problem-solving skills with the capacity to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Project Management:

    • Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, with the ability to create project plans, manage resources, and mitigate risks.
      • Proficient in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and tracking progress to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Communication:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build rapport, facilitate discussions, and foster collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
