Rispah N. Ng'ang'a currently serves as a Student University Ambassador for the Nutrition Society at the University of East Anglia since February 2023 and has been a Postgraduate Researcher at the Quadram Institute since October 2021. Previous experience includes an internship at the FAO related to the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and a mentorship at JR Biotek Foundation. Rispah conducted research as a Research Intern at the University of Notre Dame, focusing on plant DNA metabarcoding of baboon diets and also completed a Master's thesis on the molecular and morphological identification of plants consumed by yellow baboons in Amboseli, Kenya, during a Graduate Research Internship at the Institute of Primate Research. Rispah holds a PhD in Plants, Food and Health from the University of East Anglia and both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biology and Genetics from the University of Nairobi, respectively.
