UmanDiagnostics is looking for a Laboratory Engineer to join the team in Sweden! In this role, your focus will be on qualified tasks within the entire Production chain, from ordering raw material to producing components to our ELISA-kits and the final packaging of end product. The work encompasses a broad range of tasks and responsibilities, and there is a good potential to develop, learn new skills, and expand the scope of the position. Due to the size of the company and the fact that we are producing on campaign basis we are expecting you to assist in other areas when needed such as QC and R&D.

The role in Production is a combination of practical laboratory work and detailed documentation. UmanDiagnostics is ISO-13485 certified, with a quality system, and producing and selling an IVD product. This means that all tasks within the operation follow well-defined routines, and that documentation is key. Product quality and patient safety are always our top priorities which require conscientiousness, transparency, and teamwork.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • You will be working with production of components for ELISA kit according to specified instructions
  • Prepare and fill solutions
  • Packaging of kits
  • Writing documents needed in the production process
  • Handle errands within the quality system
  • Service and control of equipment
  • Purchase of raw material
  • Perform and document analysis according to plan
  • BS or BA from accredited institution with major in biology or chemistry
  • 0-3 years’ work experience
  • Academic Master's degree in biomedicine or biochemistry
  • Experience in GMP
  • Experience from working in the life sciences industry
  • Experience with practical laboratory work and pipetting
  • Full professional proficiency to speak and write in English and Swedish
  • Ability to work independent and in teams
  • Ability to deliver results and meet deadlines
  • Structured way of working
  • Problem solving mindset
