Brian Kearns

Brian Kearns is currently the Principal Counsel for Intellectual Property at Quantinuum since 2025. Previously, Brian served as the Director of the Patent Unit USA at Ericsson, leading the US patent prosecution team and overseeing the management and prosecution of a diverse patent portfolio. With a background in patent litigation and intellectual property due diligence from their time at Baker Botts LLP, Brian has crafted a robust professional trajectory in the field. They earned a Juris Doctor with honors from The University of Texas School of Law and a summa cum laude degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Southern Methodist University.
