Heidi Creighton

Heidi Creighton is an award-winning communications executive hailing from world-leading corporate, agency, and startup environments, and has three decades of strategic communications expertise.

Previously she served as Director of Public Relations for IDG, the world's #1 tech media company, where she worked under the late Pat McGovern of the McGovern Brain Institute. Prior to that, she honed her skills at a Top 10 PR agency in NYC, Creamer Dickson Basford (absorbed by Havas PR), where she went on to help launch Boston Technology Office.

Creighton was instrumental in launching and promoting the annual Powering Precision Health Summit in the life sciences industry, a leading forum and national platform to advance the science of precision medicine, now in its fifth year. She also helped MassBio launch into the digital health space.

She advocates for cancer research and mental health services. In 2017, Creighton was appointed by Governor Charlie Baker to serve on the Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions, which licenses candidates, and administers and enforces regulations related to the education guidelines for licensing. She received a B.A. in English from the University of Southern Maine.
