Kyle Rearick

Mechanical Engineer II at Quantum-Si

Kyle Rearick has a diverse work experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Kyle is currently employed at Quantum-Si as a Mechanical Engineer II. Their responsibilities include Design Verification Testing and Mechanical Design for electronic devices, with a focus on thermal management and chassis design. Kyle works with various materials such as sheet metal, plastics, aluminum, steel, and copper.

Prior to their current role, Kyle worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Quantum-Si. During their internship, they performed thermal testing on a chip cooling interface and made incremental changes to improve its performance. Kyle utilized SolidWorks for designing and simulating solutions for waste heat removal.

Before joining Quantum-Si, Kyle interned at Hyperfine Research for three summers while pursuing their PSU degree. Their main task at Hyperfine was mechanical design in SolidWorks, where they gained valuable experience working on projects with input from experienced engineers.

Kyle Rearick attended Penn State University from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
