Steve Jurczyk

Steve is spent more than 30 years with NASA, most recently serving as Acting Administrator under President Joe Biden, prior to his retirement from the agency in May of 2020.

Steve began his career as a design, integration, and testing engineer in the Electronic Systems Branch at Langley Research Center. From 2002-2006 he served as Director of Engineering, and then Director of Research and Technology at Langley. In 2014 he was appointed Director at Langley and in May 2018 became NASA's associate administrator, the agency's highest-ranking civil servant position.

Steve sees Quantum Space as an opportunity to rethink how they approach spacecraft and space services. His ambition is to provide the in-space services required to support operations in Lunar orbit and on the Moon.
